Golf courses abound - from the most famous Old Course at St Andrews, the Kingsbarns Championship Course, to lessor known but still challenging courses such as Charleton, next door to Kilconquhar. There are too many to name, but we have all the information at the resort, and can arrange for your tee times and find you a golfing partner, as other owners and guests at the resort are also looking for a friendly game of golf.

We have our own PGA Golf Professional on call, who can organise something extra!

Golf Clinics

What more effective and enjoyable way could there be to improve your golf than to stay near the home of golf itself? At Kilconquhar Estate, with the help of our own professional coach, you can perfect your stroke and learn the professional tricks on our driving range. You can try a wide range of clubs, or view video techniques, which may show you where you are going wrong as well as what you are doing right.

The courses can be as short or as long as you wish, because they are tailored to your exact requirements; beginners and intermediates, ladies' outings, single breaks, midweek breaks - let us discuss the possibilities with you.

A typical clinic might consist of tuition and practice on the range, a round on the putting green, lunch either on the Estate or in a nearby public house, followed by either further tuition or an afternoon on one of the famous courses nearby.

Golf Competition at Crail

Crail Golf Society is the forth oldest society and club in the world and on Tuesday mornings we hold our weekly competition there. You will depart reception approximately half an hour before your tee time and head along to Crail, where you will receive morning tea or coffee before setting out to the first tee.

On completing the round you'll return to the Club House where you will be served a two course lunch with complimentary drink, and the winner will be presented with a bottle of whisky on their return to the Resort. The price for this event is £39 per person.

P.G.A Golf Day at Charleton - Wednesday

This is a whole day activity starting at 9am, first of all you will meet the golf Professional (Andy Hutton) who will take you down to the driving range. You will receive approximately 2-3 hours of tuition and be given the opportunity to try out some of the latest golf equipment available.

You will then set out to Charleton Golf Course for a round of golf with tuition as you play. The cost for this day is £79 per person and a minimum of 3 people are required.

Morning Golf at Charleton - Thursday

This is an opportunity to play a round of golf at he most recently constructed course in the area. Meet your playing partners in the morning before heading out to Charleton Golf Course. Price per person is £28 and includes tea or coffee and soup or sandwiches after your round in the White Cockade.

Kilconquhar Estate Driving Range

The driving range is open every day from 10am, however it is closed for short periods for ball collection.
